Elizabeth Glenn is a Colorado native, born in Canon City, Colorado, and a Saguache County resident since 2011. She and her husband, Doug Glenn, put down roots and built their home here.

While working as a Certified Nurse’s Assistant in Las Animas County, CO, she enrolled in Trinidad State College, earning her nursing certification in 2011. She worked at Columbine Manor Care Center in Salida, CO before accepting a position at the Moffat Family Health Center and also as a Rx Protocol Nurse with ValleyWide Health Systems.

She enjoys biking and hiking the trails around Saguache County, attending concerts by her husband’s band, and was a member of a dance troupe in Crestone, CO. When not working, she also enjoys spending time with her husband and their dogs.

She learned about the retirement of the current County Coroner and decided to stand as his replacement. She feels her experience involving human mortality, and her respect and appreciation of the diverse cultures in Saguache County add to her qualifications for the office.
